Weird motion blur with pops Jan. 19, 2024, 4:24 a.m.
Hi,
I was looking for this topic with no success. Maybe it is just my workflow I do not know but I need help.
I am rendering a quite simple particles setup using POPs
Till they reach first dead of particles the motion blur in KARMA is fine, but once a partciles starts die, weird motion blur is happening.
Can someone explain me please what I am doing wrong? Thank you.
You can see it in attached hip file.
Life expectancy is set up for 2 seconds.
On frame 48 everything is still fine
On frame 49 strange motion blur is happening
Offtopic: This happend to me before, when I exported particles H19.5 to Blender and wanted to use velocity attribute to drive motion blur...

Gobo Error on specific frame Dec. 16, 2023, 11:47 a.m.
Hi all,
I have quite simple setup using Gobo Light Filter, but at the Frame 208,209,210 the Gobo turns out and on the next frame gobo is back again. I do not know what is going on. Can someone help me. Attached is the set up. Hopefully everything works. I have put all textures and and maps to the /tex/ folder and other materials are coming from AMD MatX Library.

Feather colors from Cd attribute Nov. 20, 2023, 6:31 a.m.
I am creating a simple feather system, currently the tint color is green /see screenshot/. I would like the material read the feather color attribute from SOP, but once I input Cd or displayColor to geometry color material builder the feathers are black. I tried different setups like inputing the displayColor instaed of Cd but the feathers tint is still black. The tint as such can be changed but once I input anything the color is always black Am I doing something wrong?
