Has anyone heard the latest status on whether Side Effects and 3D Connexion is working on SpacePilot support within Houdini? I'm hoping that this is in the works!

I use a wireless Logitech MX laser mouse and initially the track (middle scroll button) wouldn't work in Houdini. However, in Logitech SetPoint, I changed the middle scroll button to function as a normal middle mouse button instead of ‘zoom’. This fixed the problem, however pushing down on the middle scroll button while tracking is rather quirky because the mouse allows the middle scroll button to also be pushed right and left. If pushing the middle scroll button right and left allowed Houdini to track right and left, the navigation in the view ports would be absolutely sweet! Is there a way to configure Houdini to recognize the right/left scroll wheel directional push to track within the view ports?
