Interested in using Gyro data from a PS5 for animation Oct. 16, 2024, 10:06 p.m.
Hey guys,
was just wondering what the prosepect of using gyro data from a PS5 controller and caching that animation inside Houdini for animation purposes (further VFX) would be?
I'm thinking I could use a Chopnet to achieve this but recording the data in general is mind boggling to me!
Or even caching that data in another program is recommended first?

Viewport displaying converted mesh (VDB) before sim started Sept. 14, 2024, 4:10 a.m.
Hey guys,
fairly new to Houdini here. Unfortunately I've run into a reacurring issue where my viewpoet for some reason displays node created geometry (VDB meshes) early before my simulation begins. The geometry staying idle but snapping when the sim starts.
I unforutnately have no idea how to fix this issue or how it occurs.
Any help would be appreciated!
