Can someone give me a list of the different types motion capture files that Houdini can read?

I've tried looking online and searching the forums but am coming up empty.

also, if anyone can give me a basic overview of working with motion capture data would be great as well.

I'm familiar with workflows in other packages such as 3dmax and Maya, but just want to know how people have used mocap with Houdini.
