So how does one snap a point in the selected primitive to a point in a non-selected primitive? This is particularly important when moving shells around in the UVEdit SOP since one typically wants to align common vertices… How do you get around this limitation?

Have you guys noticed that when moving the pivot point using the <'> key, that the manipulator handles will only snap to vertices on non-selected objects? How do we snap the handle to the sameself selected primitive. I'm working within the UV view inside a UVEdit node and this is necessary to align UV shells… Any thoughts?

I'm working in the UV view within a UVEdit node and one thing I am unable to do is to have the manipulator snap to one of the vertices of the selected primitive after hitting the ‘ key (it will snap to a vertex of an unselected primitive, however). I notice that in the manipulator options there is a “snap to other objects” check box, but this doesn’t seem to have any effect. Am I missing something obvious here?
