How to Use Custom Geometry as a Force in Vellum Solver? June 7, 2024, 3:39 p.m.

Hi there,

I'm following along with this tutorial
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOWksJRUHyQ [www.youtube.com]
on creating a twisting vellum simulation. In the tutorial, they use a POP Axis Force to create the twisting effect on a cloth. However, I want to replace the force field with a custom shape — specifically, a bottle I modeled and imported into my Houdini scene. My goal is to make the cloth twist around the bottle.

I've tried a few approaches, like converting the bottle to points and using POP Attract (not sure if I did it right), but I'm not getting the desired results. Could anyone provide guidance on how to achieve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone,

I'm currently following a tutorial on Houdini for MoGraph and I've run into a bit of a snag. At around the 4-minute mark, I'm supposed to create a gradient, but nothing seems to be happening on my end. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Could someone please assist me with this issue?

Thank you so much in advance!
