ATTRIBUTES AND VOPS IN HOUDINI — PART 1

Attributes is one of the most interesting things that you can manipulate inside of Houdini, helping you to achieve virtually anything you have in mind. Let's learn how to use and operate them in this step by step workshop.

This is part 2 of the series.

We are going to learn about attribute transfer, attribute blur, and as a bonus – how to control bevel offset with attributes, and even animate that!

In this lesson we will talk about many things: creating ramps, sorting points, creating color gradients by using simple math, and controlling it all together to get interesting effects, useful both for modeling and motion graphics.

In this lesson we will learn how to convert vector values into floats, and then combine floats back to vectors again for a better control of attributes in our VOPs interface.

There will be more lessons in this workshop. To know more, and get all the latest announcements, visit Arise.Works for more Houdini tutorials and workshops.
