By default Houdini doesnt provide you with a length attribute. This can be useful for groom purposes and CFX and LookDev. So in this short video i show you how to do it.

Also, you can use a measure sop set to Perimeter and set Attribute to length.

Never knew that. Just tested it now, between the two methods it gives me different values. Sometimes its just hundreth's of a difference which is fine other times its a tenth of a difference. I will investigate further but its good to know.
