In this tutorial, I'll talk about Pyro Solver in Houdini 18.5 and mostly I'll work with the new Minimal OpenCL Solve for doing the simulation with GPU,
You will learn one of the simplest ways to simulate an explosion in the #Houdini as well as some tips and tricks about shading, rendering, and compositing in the Nuke.

Although I'll work with GPU for simulating explosion it is possible to follow this tutorial with CPU too.
After installing ACES Color Management I'll explain some new features of Houdini 18.5 such as PyroBakeVolume, new Pyro Shader, and Volume Scattering.

Hi Sadjad,I have a question, how to make the flame of explosion appear longer?

Thanks. is the "Minimal OpenCL Solve" specific to the Pyro Configure GPU Explosion node? Is the Pyro Solver node it uses different to the regular Pyro Solver node? Is that why you have to manually set the bounding box?
