Welcome to the course on creating a procedural subway tunnel. These three sessions will focus on geometry generation. We will cover a surprisingly deep technique for generating geometry and patterns using the concept of parametric surfaces, which can change and deepen the perception of procedural modeling quite a bit. We will look at advanced curve manipulation, as well as look at various practical applications for "for loop" blocks and learn how to compile some of their types.
The first part of a course on creating a procedural subway tunnel we will go over the concept of parametric UV coordinates and parametric surfaces is practice. As a result we will build the base of procedural tunnel.
In the second session, we will begin to deepen our knowledge of parametric surfaces and really unlock the potential of this concept to create geometric patterns for walls. We will also delve into for loop blocks and speed them up using compiled blocks.
In the third session, we will create an easily controlled and detailed cable system by continuing to squeeze everything we can out of the carve node and the concept of parametric coordinates. We will explore non-standard ways of generating an initial source for further detailing.
