This video will go over two ways to fracture objects. Using a torus and a Rigid Body ground plane, we will first look at a method that will do dynamic fracturing on a whole object, done with the Make Breakable shelf tool. There's a few parameters we can explore, like Max Fractures and Impact Radius, which will give us secondary fracture after the initial one. The second method will allow us to pre-fracture the torus, by using the Shatter tool, which allows you to specify the total number of shatter chunks via Force Total Count. After that we use RBD Fracture/RBD Packed Object option and then put on a glue constraint with the Glue Adjacent tool, which gives us control over how we want to shatter the object (very little or all the way).
