Animal Logic Academy - University of Technology Sydney

The UTS Animal Logic Academy is a unique collaboration between the University of Technology Sydney and one of Australia’s leading animation studios, Animal Logic. We’re looking for talented and passionate creative and technical students who want to specialise in specific areas of animation and visual effects production. 

At the Academy we mimic a professional production studio in which students work with the same procedures and tools found in the industry and are mentored by industry professionals. This way of working combined with our reputation for producing high quality students, developing and elevating their creative, technical and soft skills required to join studios of any sizes.

Since it's inception in 2017, UTS ALA has established itself as the premiere school at which to learn Houdini in Sydney. This is because all of our teachers are industry veterans each with decades of experience in their area of expertise. Our Houdini graduates have secured jobs working on large scale projects at various companies such as Animal Logic, ILM, Flying Bark, DNEG and Fin Design.
