Muscles Masterclass | Advanced
These videos build on the concepts covered in the Essentials part of this Houdini 20.5 Muscle masterclass series. Although this section is described as “advanced” - it is still aimed to be accessible to users of all levels. What differentiates this from the Essentials section is that none of these approaches are critical for getting a muscle setup up and running. However, these videos cover topics that can help speed up your workflow or push your results to the next level. The example files will be available for download to follow along.

SideFX recently held its 3nd annual game jam where participants had one week to use Houdini to build games based on the theme “Against All Odds”. Participants game jammed from all over the world, either in teams or alone, to create a variety of fun and unique games.

This year’s contest received game entries from all over the world, including the United Kingdom, United States, United Arab Emirates, Sweden, Hungary, Germany, France, Canada, Guatemala, Netherlands, and Poland.

Game Jam Contest Winners
Global Game Jam hit its 11th year in 2019 and claimed the title of “Biggest Game Jam Ever” yet again. Teams had just 48 hours to make a game based on the theme of "what home means to you". GGJ 2019 continued to break records with 47,000 game jammers participating to make 9,000 games at 860 sites in 113 countries. SideFX sponsored Global Game Jam for the fourth year in a row and provided Houdini Indie licenses to all game jammers to use in the development of their games.
