Hey guys I would like to create a mask attribute in vex, that acts like a shadow like I would get from a mask_by_feature sop.
I was trying around with the intersect function but wasnt able to work it out.
Since I would like to use this technique on many objects I need it to perform very well.

Thanks for any advice!!

Well, Mask by Feature SOP seems pretty much all vex itself. Right click on that SOP, enable 'Allow Editing of Contents' dive inside and you can see how it's built.

Why not use the SOP? I suspect that will be just as performant as anything you could build yourself.
