OK, I'm coming from Cinema 4D and all its keyboard shortcuts.
I keep messing myself up in Houdini trying to use them.
So now my viewport is like the uploaded photo.
If you look at the perspective view, it's all stretched out and messed up.
However, the orthographic views are all normal.
I started a new project and everything is fine, but when I open this project, the perspective view is all stretched.
Any help would be appreciated.
Jim

Hi,
New to Houdini and loving the procedural aspect of it.
I'm currently working on a practice project where I'm fracturing a portion of a sphere.
What I've done is taken a sphere, added a scatter and a voronoifracture and then added a group and a couple of delete nodes.
One delete node is for the static pieces, the other delete node is for the piece I am fracturing.
What I want to do is to be able to reference the PASSIVE_GEOMETRY node (null for reference) up one level so I can have everything be procedural.
What is the best practice to do this and am I on the right track?

Wow, I saw this on Vimeo a few months ago and was blown away by the realism.
Great work!

OK, I finally figured out what was happening. I was pressing Enter, but for some reason, something else was selected when I did so the ‘make breakable’ never took effect.

OK, so I followed the RBD Fracture tutorial after watching it a couple of times and I can't get my object to break up.
I add a torus and a ground plane and make the torus a rigid body.
When I press play, the torus drops and bounces off the ground plane. All good.
However, when I select the torus, and click on Make Breakable and play, the torus falls, but does not break.
I have Real Time Preview selected as well.
Any help would be appreciated.
