Hi I'm a newbie to Houdini- redshift and I keep getting colour errors when loading a very basic scene to test everything is working. Please help if you can.
Using Houdini indi 20.0.506 3.5.22 and Redshift 3.5.22
I added the line .... OCIO ="F:\OpenColorio\aces_1.0.3\config.ocio" to the Houdini EVI file (config file downloaded from Colorio.org)
1st I can no longer add Aces 1.0 SDR-Video here....
2nd get these errors in my Redshift_Rop1 ....
3rd when I render with Redshift I these are the log errors.
Any advice appreciated

That color config is an legacy 1.0 OCIO config which doesn't have a view of that name. Redshift appears to be hardcoded to expect certain view names. Use the config that ships with Houdini, or the one that ships with Redshift. What is the reason for downloading this old config? Is it needed to work with a legacy software package that does not support 2.1+ configs?

Hey, thanks for the clarification.
I have no need to use legacy configs I'm just trying to stop errors when I try and see/clickon Redshift's "Render View" in Houdini.
Where in Houdini will I find the config.ocio?
I can only find this file: "houdini-config-v1.0.0_aces-v1.3_ocio-v2.1.ocio", here... C:\Users\micha\Documents\houdini20.0\ocio
Redshift comes as a plugin so not sure where I would find that it's not here..
C:\ProgramData\Redshift\Plugins\Houdini\20.0.506

The Houdini config is in the packages folder of the install. It looks like you have a local edit in your prefs folder though. If you remove the OCIO=... line from your houdini.env, Houdini should use that one again.
I'm not super familiar with Redshift, but I have heard that it shipped with its own config. It should use whatever config the host software is using though.

Removing the OCIO=... line from the houdini.env still caused errors but pointing the houdini.env to the packages/ocio file works.
Now it renders with no errors in the Redshift view but gets this warning before starting......

you can ignore those warnings. There is some cruft in the config sidefx shipped with Houdini. It is harmless--just hiding some views that don't exist.
