Heightfields and terrains ¶

Tapered heightfields allow frustum-shaped heightfields.

Volumes ¶

You can now create vector and integer volumes.

New VDB Rasterize Frustum SOP for rasterizing point attributes into density, mask, float, vector, and integer grids.

Added the Preserve Holes parameter on the VDB from Polygons SOP to properly keep holes and generally perform better at closing small gaps.
