The node parameters reflect the officially supported attributes of the USD texture primitive.

Tips

  • When reading normal maps, set the sourceColorSpace parameter set to “raw” to ensure colorspace is not applied to the incoming data. The bias and scale parameters on this node are an easy way to convert the data from 0->1 range to -1->1 range

The normal input is expected to be a tangent-space vector in -1 to 1 range.
