Slap Comp Import Copernicus node

Import live layers from the Solaris Viewport.

On this page

This operation can import layers directly from the Solaris interactive viewport. These are Karma CPU and XPU renders. For more information, see Slap comp.

If no layers have been posted by an interactive render, this will pass through its inputs.

Note

This requires that an interactive render has been done in the Solaris viewport first, as this will return the last rendered layers and can’t trigger renders itself.

Parameters

Reload Image

Dirty this node and try to re-load the last layers that were posted by an interactive render.

Live Recook

When live, any interactive render dirties this node whenever it generates new frames. This will cause it to continuously recook showing a live output, but may slow down the render process if the COP network is visible.

Import Cameras with Slap Comp Inputs

A rendered layer has a location in space from the original camera. Often this isn’t relevant to Slap Comp, so this can be disabled to always import layers in the canonical coordinates.

Add AOVs from Last Render

Updates the AOV list with all of the AOVs exported by the last render. This may contain extra unnecessary AOVs that can be deleted.

This method is more reliable than manually setting up the correct names and types for AOVs.

Number of AOVs

Slap Comp AOV

The name of the AOV to import as a layer.

Channel Type

The data type of the AOV that is imported.

Inputs

input#

The AOV input layer.

Outputs

output#

The AOV output layer.
